With a view of the Fagaras Mountains, surrounded by hills and located in a natural reservation (Natura 2000), Cincsor is one of those beautiful, idyllic countryside destination that you can only find in Transylvania

The Former Evangelical School, together with the Former Parish House and the Fortified Church in Cincsor, form a historic ensemble that is typical for the former Transylvanian Saxon villages. The church, school, parish house and community represent the core of spirituality and Saxon culture.

Houses:

Former School

Build in 1910 in the Art Nouveau Style and restored in 2014, the former Protestant Saxon School, now turned into a guesthouse, offers the perfect getaway and relaxation. Apart from the 4 bedrooms, the guesthouse features a recreation area in the chimney room, a library/media room and a well-lit porch designed as a dining area.

Former Parish House

The second oldest building in Cincsor after the Fortified Church, the former Evangelical Parish House now restored and transformed into a guest house offers you 5 en-suite rooms, a small library, a spacious kitchen and a beautiful dining room and lounge area, both decorated with late 15th century murals. The former Parish House has two large gardens: a flower and a vegetable garden. The kids can play in our „Stories House” or „Bee House” as it was called, while the adults can enjoy a glass of wine or have a small party in the former barn. Rooms are set up in 2 or 3 separate buildings and come in slightly different styles

Peasant’s House

The newly restored house, the Peasant’s House is located across from the main building, the former Saxon School, in the center of the village. With a view of the Fortified Church, this house offers three spacious rooms, each on two levels, decorated in the rustic yet modern style.

Frank House

Built at the end of the 19th century by a wealthy Cincșor family, the Frank House used to house the village store and underwent several reconstructions. In 1947 the building was expropriated by the communist regime and allocated to the local state- owned agricultural cooperative. All annexes (barn, stables, forge, summer kitchen) were destroyed. After 1989 it became a private village bar. In 2017 today’s owners bought the house, restored it in the initial old style and integrated it into the guesthouse complex. The Frank House offers two small apartments, a library/ workroom on the ground floor, four fully equipped guest rooms in the attic and a spacious courtyard with garden.
